UCLA Laryngology Update 2019: Learning through a Case-Based Approach

Course Description

Laryngology covers the advanced care of voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. The correct diagnosis and ultimate treatment of the patient with laryngology problems require attention to detail and a broad foundation of knowledge. The otolaryngologist and the speech language pathologist must maintain this knowledge base with continued review and learning. The 2019 UCLA Laryngology Update will provide a wide range of laryngology learning topics with a unique approach of presenting the learning within clinical presentations. These clinical vignettes will provide direct correlation to current practice patterns and experience. Working toward the diagnostic and treatment goals of each case will offer an exciting and productive learning opportunity for the experienced and novice otolaryngologist (ENT) and speech language pathologist (SLP) alike.

Target Audience

Otolaryngologists, speech language pathologists (SLP), voice pedagogues, allied health professionals, medical students, speech language pathology students, and surgical residents
