Adult Control Volunteers (55 - 85) wanted for Early-onset Alzheimer's Disease Study

Participants will serve as healthy comparison subjects for an early-onset Alzheimer's disease study and will undergo neurocognitive tasks . The cognitive testing will include tasks to measure thinking, memory, problem solving skills, and other cognitive domains.

Participants will also undergo a 40 minute MRI sequence for the investigators to capture a brain scan.

Participants should be willing to return to the neurology clinic one year later for a follow up visit, which will be administration of the same neurological tasks done at the first visit.

Participants will be compensated with a $25 gift card per visit, and can receive a copy of their MRI.


  • Potential participants should have normal visual acuity (corrective lenses are OK).
  • Any metal in the body (including medical implants) should be MRI-compliant.
  • Potential participants should not be diagnosed with any complicating physical or psychiatric illnesses.
