Meeting the Challenge of Primary Care

Course Description

It is often said that the “common things occur most commonly” and nowhere is this not more true than in primary care. This four-day symposium will provide the participant with an update on common problems seen in primary care related to preventive medicine, rheumatology, internal medicine, and women’s health.

A distinguished UCLA faculty group will discuss a variety of topics including hypertension, diabetes, contraception, hepatitis B and C, and common rheumatologic disorders.

Target Audience

This course is targeted toward family physicians, general practitioners, internists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
